There's a new company called Pay per post that launched recently that has been getting a whole lot of attention.

Sites like Techcrunch and Techmeme contain some fierce discussions on the morality of this company. Is getting paid to write a post about something unethical to the blogger 'profession'? Right now, most seem to be leaning towards the view that this is immoral and are saying things like “this will destroy bloggers” (that was one of the headlines about this Payperpost company on Digg).

Apparently the issue is that people who are doing this aren't disclosing the fact that it's a paid post. This is the issue for the majority of naysayers that differentiates Payperpost from other sites that basically pay you to blog (Google Adsense, Amazon affiliate links, and similar things that are popular with the blogger crowd). Me? I say with disclosure, it's fine.

And yes, this is a 'sponsored' post.

Apparently, the state of Washington doesn't feel that classifying online gamblers as felons is draconian enough, as it's now looking to crack down on internet speech as well. The first victim of the new law is not charged with gambling itself, but of maintaining a website that discussed, reviewed and linked to online gambling sites.

White MacBooks showing premature discoloration

It's not uncommon for electronics -- and especially laptops -- to begin showing some discoloration after a few months or years of wear and tear, but reports coming out of Mac forums and websites of three- and four-week old white MacBooks sporting heavy staining on the trackpads and wrist rests are causing no small amount of alarm among the Apple faithful. Having ruled out heat, smokers, and people not washing their hands enough, commenters are now starting to use ugly terms like "manufacturing defect" to explain why disparate white MacBooks are all showing signs of heavy use barely weeks out of the box, with afflicted users reportedly unable to remove the stains even armed with the harshest of cleaning agents. While it's too soon to really gauge the scope of this supposed problem, if we owned a MacBook we might start using external input devices just to be safe, and if we were in the market for a new one, well, we might even drop the extra loot for that fancy -- and seemingly stain-resistant -- black edition.

Meet The Fockers is very funny

Comedy is really a cure for such great moments were laughing is the best medicine ever. "Meet The Fockers" has that. This sequel to "Meet The Parents" has really picked up great elements. This is when Gaylord Focker (Ben Stiller) and his fiancee' Pam (Teri Polo) are looking forward to becoming parents in which she does not want to tell her father Jack (Robert DeNiro), a former C.I.A agent who is still not to fond of him marrying his daughter. Jack and Dina (Blythe Danner) are taking care of their deaf grandson little Jack (twins Spencer and Bradley Pickren)who communicates better with Jack than Gaylord.

As they begin their journey in his new well equipped RV (Security cameras and euipment)to meet his parents, Jack gives him the "I'm watching you" gesture through a security camera. Later, the reach their destination where they finally meet Gaylord's father Bernie (hilariously played by Dustin Hoffman) and his mother Roz (Barbara Streisand). It is known that Hoffman, DeNiro, and Streisand have such tremendous performances that have me laughing so hard that I almost choked on my popcorn. This movie never misses a beat when the laughter keeps me in gear. I give this movie an A+.
